LOVE BINDS: THE PROLOGUE

When something begins, you generally have no idea how it’s going to end, that's the most exciting part about life; you meet someone you get to know them and fall in....

I'm sorry, where are my manners let me introduce myself, my name is Ishmael.

I'm not one for non-linear narration but I’ll start from the end or the new beginning depending on your glass level perspective. People's decisions determine much of the way we live, from the moment we’re born our names, what we eat are someone's decision. As we grow older, new freedoms kick in. We become independent, we learn and at some point we fully engage and compete to gain more and more freedoms from other people’s decisions.

All that changes as soon as we meet someone we like, we begin to seek shelter in them and give up our freedoms; we want their decision about us to be favourable. We give it all up and sometimes or sadly most times that's when our given up freedoms can turn on us. Yeah, feels and decisions suck sometimes

"I love you" says every love song ever made, my question is do you really?
I'm no expert but for most people, love is some form of emotional legal tender (signed by the Governor of love himself Michael Bolton.). We say it and expect our love to buy their love and that's not the way it works; they have the FREEDOM not to feel that way about you. Decisions.

We've all been there, we develop feelings, become territorial, give our hearts and souls but in the words of Drake, "You can play your heart out everyone don’t get a ring though"
Mr Graham hit the nail on the head, so what if you took her places and went the extra mile? If you really love her you will respect her decision and let it be. No blackmail, no games no nothing. Finding your way back from defeat or rejection can be difficult, there’s no compass, no map. I have chosen to just close my eyes, take a step, and hope it will add up in the end, we all get there eventually. That's where my head is at now, how I wish I knew that when….

Let me take you back to the beginning;
